The Face Behind The Serious Reader...
Hello! First, I want to thank you for stopping by TSR!
You want to know a little about me?
Here we go!
Two years ago, I dived into the publishing scene with my first novel. I have now authored four works of fiction and went on to start the site, The Cheap Kindle Daily because I wanted to share my love of books and help other authors. I didn't like the limitations, however, on having a blog solely focused on cheap Kindle books, so I reinvented the site, which is now known as The Serious Reader. For more than a year, I volunteered for the World Literary Café, where I worked as the Read & Review coordinator and was responsible for all communication and correspondence with reviewers. After participating in several virtual tours with my own books and connecting with bloggers, I wanted to use my knowledge in marketing, promoting, and the publishing world to create a different kind of virtual tour company. One where customer service was key, the quality of participating bloggers was considered, and blogger relationships are a priority, along with the quality of work represented. Hence, The Serious Reader branched off into Worldwind Virtual Book Tours. Prior to becoming an author and delving into publishing, I used my degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies as an addiction counselor. I am the mother of two young children, and have five loves in my life—my family, books, chocolate, coffee, and wine.
