REVIEW: Broken is an extremely different and unique novel. The premise basically surrounds a fallen angel in the times of WWII . I think this novel is definitely worth a read if you history and not so typical paranormals or books in general. It's not your typical war read though. The fallen angel--the protagonist, Alia, is incarnated in human form and when sent to earth eventually takes on a lover and develops relationships on earth. Soon she finds herself in trouble as the Nazi occupation take control of Paris and she must take refuge. In the end, her character develops, as she must learn the meaning of self sacrifice. Overall, a good book rich with history. You can tell the author did a lot of research.
